Silent Retreat: Sign up this week!
April 19-21, 2013, Vallombrosa Center
Registration for the Lectio Divina Silent Retreat is open now and there are a few spaces left. Through the practice of “Lectio Divina,” this weekend of contemplation allows people to prayerfully reflect on different texts that celebrate the life, growth, and love present in Creation. The cost of the retreat is $60, and you must fill out the online form AND pay your deposit in Campus Ministry in order to secure your space on this prayerful retreat. Half the Sky

Join us for a special screening of the documentary Half the Sky, which is based on the novel by New York Times columnist Nick Kristof and his wife, Sheryl WuDunn. The screening will be followed by a special Skype session with the girls of Daraja Academy in Kenya. Hope to see you there!

The Search retreat is an opportunity for spiritual growth; this amazing weekend away encourages a deeper understanding of the life of faith through the experience of community and individual reflection. This Bible study includes Christians from numerous denominations and is a perfect place for anyone who has been participating in Bible studies for years or who wants to study the Bible for the first time. Come enjoy snacks, create new friendships, a time of prayer, and a time to study God's word more deeply.
Christians in Action Small Group
Fridays, 4 p.m., Campus Ministry
How does being Christian impact our understanding of world events and social justice? How does our faith call us respond to the suffering of others due to hunger, poverty and injustice? The Christians in Action small group will study various social justice issues and reflect on different ways we are called to be the hands and feet of Jesus in the world today.
