    • Leadership Applications: NJSLC & Media CSOs

      Online applications are now available for the following opportunities:

      • National Jesuit Student Leadership Conference (NJSLC): Santa Clara will be hosting the annual NJSLC in Summer 2013 for all 28 Jesuit universities and colleges across the country. Applications for the NJSLC Leadership Team are now being accepted.
      • Media Chartered Student Organizations (CSOs): KSCU FM 103.3, Santa Clara Review, The Redwood, and The Santa Clara are now accepting applications for their primary leadership positions (General Manager for KSCU FM 101.3 and Editors in Chief for the Santa Clara Review, The Redwood, and The Santa Clara).

      Jaennika Aniag is recognized for her commitment to stellar work organizing the Youth Empowerment Program for the Multicultural Center (MCC).

      How Do You Define Leadership? Leadership is having a passion for what you believe in and executing it. It's all about taking in responsibilities and being responsible of others on your team. Being a good student leader, is leading through example, staying organized, AND having fun while doing it!

    • Locatelli Student Activity Center Recognized as a LEED Gold Building

      The U.S. Green Building Council awarded the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold Certification to the Locatelli Student Activity Center, which is home for the Center for Student Leadership (CSL), Activities Programming Board (APB), Associated Student Government (ASG), and Santa Clara Community Action Program (SCCAP). The rating recognizes the efficient use of energy and resources during the construction and operation of the student center. A formal recognition ceremony took place on November 28 where the LEED Gold Certification plaque was unveiled.

    • New CSO Banners on Main Street

      Main Street--the main thoroughfare between the Leavey Event Center and Malley Fitness Center on the south and the Locatelli Student Activity Center and Stanton Field on the north--now includes new banners featuring the 8 chartered student organizations (CSOs) at Santa Clara. These banners will be displayed along Main Street for a few weeks each quarter and will be displayed inside the Locatelli Student Activity Center all other times of the year.
