Senior Design Conference
Mark your calendar: The School of Engineering will hold its 42nd Annual Senior Design Conference Thursday, May 10, 2012. More than 250 alumni, industry leaders, parents and friends are expected to come and watch our seniors present their projects. In 2011, bioengineering seniors took medical devices to the next level; civil engineers designed numerous sustainable building and water projects; computer engineers developed intricate, intriguing gaming environments and software applications to improve our lives; electrical engineers worked on solar efficiency and characterization of carbon nanofibers; and mechanical engineering students designed a low-cost, solar-powered incubator for Nigeria and an autonomous network of robotic kayaks for use in environmental research.
