Event Planning Office

The University Event Planning office is THE resource on campus for the production of successful University events.

 

We work in a collegial, client-focused atmosphere, as strategists and problem-solvers who ask ourselves every day how we can do better than the day before.

 

The University Event Planning Office will assist all units of the University, including the Office of the President, Development, Admissions, Alumni, Athletics, The Centers of Distinction, the College and Schools, Student Life and all other departments that produce events for Santa Clara.  The Event Planning Office provides the University with event planning leadership, informed counsel, and services that support the University's strategic aims of event development and production management.  


In December of 2012, the Event Planning Office moved to the Walsh Administration Building and is now part of the President's Office staff. This office continues to manage events such as Undergraduate and Graduate Commencement, staffing the Board of Fellows, and the Golden Circle Theatre Party. Since joining the President's Office, they have taken on additional responsibilities including staffing for both the Board of Trustees and the Board of Regents.

 

The University Event Planning Office is designated and recognized as the liaison between University departments producing events and the organizations necessary to support them. It is our responsibility to develop a set of University‑wide standards that will ensure that all events exhibit a level of quality that showcases Santa Clara's excellence.
