The Iraq War, wrongful convictions, and the right to wear or not to wear head scarves are among the topics for the 2007-08 Ethics at Noon series. These lunch-hour programs provide a forum for SCU faculty members and other experts to explore ethical issues in many fields. All programs are free and open to the public.

Ethics, Innovation, and Running a Green Company

Kevin Surace, CEO of Serious Energy of Sunnyvale, reflects on the ethics of running a green company.

Surace was Inc Magazine’s Entrepreneur of the Year in 2009, was listed as one of the top 15 innovators of this decade by CNBC, nominated as Innovator of the Year by PlanetForward and awarded Tech Pioneer by the World Economic Forum. Before joining Serious Energy in 2002, Mr. Surace held executive and technical positions with Perfect Commerce, General Magic, Air Communications, National Semiconductor, and Seiko-Epson.
