Assistant Director, LEAD Scholars Program

Erin Kimura-Walsh has been named the new director of the LEAD Scholars Program. She was an undergraduate at Santa Clara University, where she studied Japanese and English. She earned an M.S. in Counseling from San Francisco State and a Ph.D. in Higher Education from UCLA. In addition to her responsibilities as assistant director, Erin also will teach in the Ethnic Studies Program. Erin also worked in the Drahmann Center for a time, and while there she helped to create the LEAD Scholars’ Program by co-authoring the grant petition which initially brought the program to campus. As the program’s new Assistant Director, Erin will be working to implement LEAD week, to advise and mentor students, and to teach. Go back to Provost Updates.
