Did you Know?

Friday, May. 4, 2012

The Forge, SCU's own community garden, has community workdays, and groups like the SCU Volleyball Team are taking advantage of these by participating during Spring quarter. Enjoy the sun outside this spring quarter by volunteering at the Forge where you can help plant fruits and vegetables, learn about gardening techniques, and even see some chickens.

Volunteer work days are on Mondays and Thursdays from 2-5pm. Located only two blocks off campus, the Forge is at 1051 Sherman St., Santa Clara, CA 95050.

Also, this Thursday is a plant sale at the Forge. Stop by the garden anytime between 3-7pm to get vegetable or flower starts.
