  •  Zimride builds community

    In an effort to reduce carbon emissions and foster community relations, Santa Clara University recently launched a new ride sharing program called Zimride--a social networking site that allows students, faculty, and staff to post rides for carpooling to work, school, events, or holiday trips home.

    On a Sunday morning, you could find Laurie riding her tandem bicycle through San Jose with her husband. On a daily basis, she cycles to SCU as many days as she can, although she finds riding in the rain particularly unpleasant.
