  •  Career Center connects students to sustainability-related careers

    The Career Center is an incredible resource to find more information about careers of all sorts, including sustainability-related careers. "When students come to us and say they want a "green career" it's as broad as saying they want to work abroad." Career Center staff have done an extensive amount of work to provide resources on Green Careers for students, faculty, and staff.

    Amy Chan (Class of 2006) is the lead coordinator of the San Jose Green Vision. The Green Vision helps to bolster San Jose's economy, show environmental leadership, and improve the quality of life in the community. Amy's favorite aspect of her work is getting to help improve the community.

    Over 1,300 members of the Santa Clara University community participated in last week's commute survey. Faculty typically travel 17 miles one-way, while the number drops for staff and students (13 and 14 miles, respectively).
