  • Joe Sugg, Assistant Vice President, University Operations

    Sunday, Mar. 1, 2009
Joe Sugg has been a leader in creating a more sustainable campus. Joe oversees buildings management and construction, grounds management, energy use, waste management and purchasing policy. When asked how he came to view sustainability as a core Santa Clara value, Joe identified two personal triggers. First, he described how sustainability is more than being "green" it's about social justice and viable economics. Second, Joe learned to see sustainability as a good business practice.
