The Leavey Real Estate Institute (REI) cultivates objectively and subjectively valuable industry practitioners who meet or exceed employers' and society's wants, needs, and expectations for creating a better built world of lasting value.
Since World War II, Silicon Valley has continuously reinvented itself economically. Technology, life sciences, research & development, manufacturing, and finance drive most of the required reinvention. Real estate constantly plays catch-up while adapting to these economic and associated cultural changes. In addition to an evolving curriculum, the REI provides students with experiential learning opportunities to stay at the leading edge of real estate best practices to support regional, national, and global economic drivers now and in the future.

Many leading real estate firms employ our students through full-time positions and internships.
