Hello, Are you getting excited to start your first quarter at SCU?! In this sixth edition of our Bronco Prep Guide, you’ll find information to prepare you for New Transfer Student Move-In on September 18 and Welcome Weekend on September 18-20. Move-in is on September 18 - here's what you need to know:
🧳 What to Pack View the suggested list of what to pack and what to leave at home as you prepare to move into your residence hall in September.
📕 The Bronco Book View the Bronco Book, a guide for new students and families with information about SCU resources, including university departments and student services.
👋 Welcome Weekend Alongside move-in, there's a full weekend of activities for you and your family to experience what the Bronco community is all about and connect with others who are also experiencing SCU for the first time! Essential Information: All transfer students, along with their families, guests, and other supporters, are encouraged to attend Welcome Weekend activities. Most activities are open to both students and their guests.

🏡 Living Off Campus If you are living off campus for the academic year, here are a few resources that you may find useful now and throughout your time at SCU: 👉 ICYMI: Being a Bronco Series As a new Bronco, you are required to complete the Being a Bronco Series. This six-part series helps incoming students transition to the Santa Clara University (SCU) community. All modules are due by September 7.

A 1999 article titled "Accompaniment and Welcome: The Jesuit Refugee Service and its Pastoral Role" from the Jesuit Curia in Rome provides a deeper analysis of the meaning of accompaniment.
