Technology's Impact on Mind + Body + Soul

A feature on my iPhone tells me how much time I am spending using different apps each day. It's sobering. It's also just another reminder of how much technology shapes human lives to a degree and depth unimagined even ten years ago.

As the Jesuit University in Silicon Valley, Santa Clara University has the opportunity to ask the meaningful questions about human existence and technology’s impact on mind, body, and soul. How can we steward technology's advance to benefit humanity to the fullest - supporting human endeavor and contributing to human flourishing in all of its dimensions?

In keeping with our Jesuit tradition of reflecting to gain deeper insight, the Ignatian Center is pursuing answers. Our latest and evolving endeavor, Tech and the Human Spirit, got off to a great start this past quarter, with a number of events focused on this compelling topic. Visit the Tech and the Human Spirit website to see how you can become a part of this timely conversation.
