    Ecumenical Bible Study

    Interfaith Dinner Discussions

    Thursday, February 5, Campus Ministry, 6 p.m.
    Join us for dinner and a lively conversation on the odd weeks of the Quarter! All religious, spiritual and philosophical traditions are welcome.     Radical Dialogue: Jewish-Catholic Relations in Argentina

    Friday, February 6, 5:30-7 p.m. in Campus Ministry large conference room

    Please join the Jewish Student Union and Interfaith for a talk by student Michelle Runyon on the issues in Jewish-Catholic relations in Argentina.  This is great background for Abraham Skorka's visit next week!  Food will be provided at this Shabbat.  If you have questions please contact Jonathan Homrighausen or Rev Laura Brekke.


    Those becoming Catholic - Rite of Acceptance

    Sunday, February 8, 2015 at the 9 p.m. Liturgy, Mission Church

    We will be welcoming several people into a process that will eventually lead to their baptism and membership into the Catholic Church. Please pray for them and we ask you to make an extra effort to be welcoming to them on February 8.


    A Legacy of Love and Justice

    Monday, February 9, 4:00-5:15 p.m., St. Clare Room

    Professor Ana Maria Pineda (Religious Studies) and Juan Velasco (English Department) will commemorate the 34th anniversary of the death of Archbishop Romero and the 37th anniversary of the death of Rutilio Grande, S.J. Romero and Grande were friends and companions on a journey of solidarity and justice for the poor of El Salvador. The commemoration will include poetry reading, art, reflections of their spiritual journey, a remembering of their lives and a celebration of their memory.


    “Rediscover Catholicism”

    Wednesday, February 11, 6-7 p.m., Campus Ministry

    Join Fr. Rob Scholla, S.J. for a conversation on the themes addressed in the book Rediscover Catholicism. Whether you have read the book or not, liked it or not, the gathering will give students the opportunity to raise questions, concerns, and hopes for living one’s faith within the Catholic tradition. Refreshments will be provided! Free copies of the book are still available in the Campus Ministry office.


    Society of St Vincent de Paul Youth ‘Vinnies’ Meeting

    We are a group of enthusiastic students who are working together to help those who could use a step up (for example the homeless). Twice monthly meetings, contact Dany Kelly or visit the Facebook page.

    Senior Retreat Registration

    Senior Retreat 2015, Hidden Villa Hostel, February 6-8, 2015, $60

    Registration deadline: Wednesday, February 4, 2015; Spots are limited
    Registration for the 2015 Senior Retreat is now live. This will be a dynamic weekend focused on vocation, community, faith, and relationships. Led by a team of student leaders, Resident Ministers and Campus Ministers, Senior Retreat will include various nourishing talks, engaging workshops, delicious home-cooked meals, small group conversations, and one on one opportunities that will nurture your body, mind and spirit.
