Catholic Life at Santa Clara University
Catholic Life at Santa Clara University is rich and dynamic, drawing from the breadth and depth of the Catholic tradition and Church teaching.
We strive to know and love God as revealed in Jesus Christ, who sends us as His disciples to love our neighbor, especially the least among us. In that same spirit, our Jesuit tradition calls us to cultivate a faith that does justice.
Whether you are just starting in your faith journey, are spiritually curious, or have been Catholic all your life, this is a community where you can draw closer to God through the sacraments, especially the Eucharist, as well as retreats and other formation programs.
Guided by Ignatian spirituality, we walk together as members of the Church, the People of God—fellow pilgrims discerning how the Spirit is leading us as a community and as individuals to proclaim the gospel with our lives.
Liturgy
All Are Welcome!
Gathering in prayer as a community is important to us. Many students share that the time they spend in prayer at the Mission Church and around campus is a touchstone of their SCU experience. We hope that you'll find your spiritual home with us. Volunteer as a Liturgy Minister
