Santa Clara University Resources
- Commuter Space The Locatelli Student Activity Center has designated spaces on the 2nd floor for students who commute. Space amenities include a rest/working area with lockers (locks not provided) and couches and a kitchen space with a sink, refrigerator, microwave, coffee machine, hot water pot, toaster oven and TV.
- Altamont Corridor Express (ACE) Discount If you are a SCU staff member or a currently enrolled student, you are eligible for a 50% discount on 20 ride passes and monthly passes with ACE. ACE is a rail service from the Central Valley (Stockton, Lathrop/Manteca, Tracy) and the East Bay (Livermore, Pleasanton, Fremont) to the Santa Clara Train Station nearest SCU. - Zip Car Rentals Santa Clara University has car rentals available on campus through ZipCar. Vehicles are located in the Mission lot and the Accolti lot. Please click here to sign up for ZipCar and to explore rates.
- Electric Vehicle Charging Stations SCU provides public electric vehicle charging stations in the Guadalupe Hall and Leavey Lots through Charge Point. These stations are free for campus parking permit holders for the first 4 hours or cost $2.00 per hour for all other users with a maximum charge of $6.00. - Fixit Stations for Bicycle Repair Bicycle Fixit stations can be found by Swig Hall North Steps (Kennedy Mall side), San Filippo West End (near the Sobrato Fountain), Campus Safety/Transportation Services, and the University Villas.
- Bike Lock Support If you would like to be connected to a free bike U-lock please complete the Basic Needs Intake Form.

- Clipper START Program The Clipper START program offers discounted transit fares for low-income adults in the Bay Area. Participants can save 20%-50% on most transit systems, including BART, Caltrain, Muni and VTA. To check your eligibility please click here. - Regional Transit Connection (RTC) Discount Card The Regional Transit Connection (RTC) Discount ID Card is available for persons with qualifying disabilities and entitles them to Senior/Disabled fares. Riders who have a Regional Transit Connection Clipper card can currently use the card to pay for fares on VTA, Caltrain, SamTrans, AC Transit, BART, Muni, Golden Gate Transit and Ferry. Riders who use transit agencies that do not accept Clipper can use the RTC card as proof of eligibility for reduced fares.
