We are excited to bring you the second edition of our Bronco Prep Guide.
Now: Reserve your spot!
Below is an update on the two steps required to reserve your spot after submitting your enrollment deposit. If either step is incomplete, please take action as soon as possible.
In the email you received, it will show:
- Your Housing application is incomplete and past due. Submit Housing App today OR Housing Application Complete
- Your Orientation registration is incomplete. Sign up for Orientation asap! OR Orientation Registration Complete
Next: Get enrolled!
Over the next few weeks, you should begin to prepare for your academic advising and course enrollment sessions that will take place this summer.
Here are some key steps to Get Enrolled that you should be working on now:
- Account Claim - This key step gives you access to your MySCU Portal, through which you’ll access several apps you’ll need to get enrolled! And this sets up your SCU email. We have instructions online to assist you.
- DUO 2-Factor Authentication - Setting up Duo is required to access Google Workspace, Workday, Microsoft 365, your email, and many other systems at SCU.
-
- Please complete Duo 2-Factor Authentication within 30 days of claiming your account, or your Duo setup link will expire. If it expires, you will need to contact the Technology Help Desk for assistance.
- Calculus Readiness Exam (CRE) - If the major you listed on your application to SCU requires that you take calculus, you should have received additional information on May 15, 2026. Please remember that not all majors require the CRE.
Two useful things to know to support your academics:
🗓️ The Academic Calendar is your guide to important dates such as the start and end of each quarter, academic holidays throughout the year, and key course enrollment deadlines. The 2026-2027 academic calendar is available on the Registrar’s website. Future academic calendars will also be listed on this website.
📝 Santa Clara’s Office of Accessible Education (OAE) is available to assist students who are seeking accommodations for documented disabilities or medical conditions. OAE staff recommend that students seeking accommodations begin the registration process as soon as they receive their SCU email address. Starting early can help avoid longer review wait times at the beginning of the quarter.
Santa Clara Value - Academic Excellence
The commitment to integrity is an expression of Santa Clara University’s Catholic, Jesuit identity. The Santa Clara University community is dedicated to the promotion of values consistent with academic and personal excellence toward our vision of educating citizens and leaders of competence, conscience, and compassion.
Choosing to join the Bronco community is an affirmation of these values and a commitment to uphold them. Take time to learn more about academic integrity and the student conduct code.
