Amalia Thompson

Amalia Thompson is graduating in 2027, majoring in Public Health Science and Biology, with a minor in Spanish. Following a pre-med path, Amalia has interests in pediatrics and working within Spanish speaking communities. At Santa Clara University, she is a PR chair for HPPA, co-president of SCU Belles Service Organization, tutors for the Drahmann Center, works in Dr. Wheeler’s research lab, and is part of the Markkula Healthcare Ethics Internship. She previously has done volunteering at Children’s Hospital Colorado, has worked as a skincare consultant at Kiehl’s, and has helped start a theatre outreach program within Denver Public Schools. Outside of class, Amalia enjoys movies, concerts, and eating lots of good food.

Amay Malhotra

Amay is graduating in 2028, majoring in Neuroscience with a minor in Biology. Following the Pre-Med path, Amay has interests in Neurology and Pediatrics. At Santa Clara, he is a part of the HPPA PR committee, works as a Peer Health Educator at the Wellness Center, and is the Secretary/Social Media Lead for the Neuro Club on campus. He also works as an Optometrist Technician at the Optometry Center of Pleasanton, and has worked as a volunteer at Sutter Health Eden Medical Center. Outside of the classroom, Amay enjoys developing his novel series, Finesse Destiny, making LEGO stop-motion animations, video FX editing, producing graphic design/art, and spending time with friends and family.

Annie Schloss

Annie is graduating in 2027, majoring in Public Health Science and Biology, with a minor in Religious Studies. Following the Pre-Med path, Annie has interests in pediatrics, OB/GYN, and cardiology. At Santa Clara, she does research in the RESS Lab, is a Hackworth Fellow, and is involved in Run Club. She has completed research at the Hardesty Center for Clinical Research and Neuroscience, and also volunteers at St. John’s Hospital. Outside of the classroom, Annie enjoys running, cooking, and painting.

Gabrielle Nakamatsu

Gabbie is graduating in 2028, majoring in Biology and Neuroscience with minors in Japanese Studies and Biotechnology. Following a pre-medicine path, she has interests in dermatology and neurology. At Santa Clara University, she is a part of HPPA, the community service chair for Rho Psi Eta pre-health sorority, the treasurer of SCU Global Medical Brigades, the mentorship chair for the University Honors Program Advisory Council, the media chair for Ka Manaʻo O Hawaiʻi Club, works as a Chemistry TA, and participates in research in quantum computational chemistry in the Grotjahn lab. She has worked as an MA intern and completed work in population preventative health as well as volunteering at a dementia home. Outside of school, she enjoys staying active and time with her friends, family, and pets!

Isabella Pi-Castillo

Isabella is graduating in 2028, majoring in Biology with minors in Biotechnology and Chemistry. Following the pre-med path, Isabella has interests in reconstructive/cosmetic surgery. At Santa Clara, she is a LEAD scholar and is involved in Biophysical research with Dr. Grace Stokes. Her work experience includes volunteering at Good Samaritan Hospital, where she assists Nurses with patient care, and working as a junior medical assistant at a dermatology clinic. Outside of the classroom, Isabella enjoys spending time with friends and family, getting sweet treats, and playing with her pets!

Kimberly Xing

Kimberly is graduating in 2027, majoring in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. Following the Pre-Pharmacy track, Kimberly has interests in pharmacology and drug development. At Santa Clara, she serves as the Operations Chair for HPPA and is a member of Delta Epsilon Mu. Her work experience includes being an Undergraduate Research Assistant in Dr. Brian McNelis’ organic chemistry lab, volunteering at Huntington Hospital and a summer research program at Keck Graduate Institute. She also earned her Pharmacy Technician license over the summer. Outside the classroom, Kimberly enjoys doing ballet, playing piano, and baking.

Ryann Davis

Ryann is graduating in 2027, majoring in Biology. Following a Pre-Nursing path, Ryann is interested in attending an entry level masters program in nursing after graduation. At Santa Clara she is a part of HPPA and is involved with LEAD. She interned with Girls on the Run Bay Area through Health Career Connections and volunteers at various places. She also coaches a club volleyball team with a local club. Outside of the classroom she enjoys reading, cooking, and spending time with her friends and family.

Will Stroh

Will is graduating in 2027, majoring in Biology. On the Pre-Med track, Will is interested in orthopedic surgery and sports medicine. At Santa Clara, he is involved in neuroscience research with Dr. Cocas, as well as a member of the Men’s Rowing team. He has shadowed orthopedic surgeons at Evergreen Hospital, and has spent time shadowing a PT at Lake Washington Physical Therapy. He serves as a liaison to Pre-Health student athletes. Outside of school, Will enjoys camping and hiking, cooking, and watching football.
