Parent Participation
Involvement Opportunities at Kids on Campus
We believe that family participation is an integral part of building a sustainable community for learning and growth. Classroom teachers invite parents to participate at Kids on Campus by sharing family traditions, favorite activities and books, and joining campus walks or events.
Teachers and Administrators plan evening events to keep families informed about their child’s development, classroom curriculum and expectations, and to help build community. At least one parent is required to attend these meetings:
Listed below are our basic family obligations:
- Volunteering in the classroom or donating snack/supplies (once a month) is mandatory.
- Attending Back to School Night (in August) and Parent/Teacher Conferences (October and May) is mandatory.
- Attending Family Celebrations is encouraged (Fall Harvest Festival and Parade in October, Family Fun Day in April, End of Year Celebration in June, Ice Cream Social in July).
For your convenience, we have an online sign up system in place for donating snack ingredients and supplies. That link is sent out monthly via email.
Thank you for your contributions!
