Briahna Jackson, M.A., is a doctoral candidate earning her Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology at The Wright Institute in Berkeley, CA. She has previously provided therapy to adolescents and adults in a variety of settings in the Bay Area, including community and medical mental health clinics, public schools, and university counseling centers. She completed her B.S. in ethnic studies and psychology from Santa Clara University, where she was involved as an undergraduate student with the Career Center, OML, and Residence Life. Briahna’s clinical interests include intersectional identity development, complex trauma, BIPOC mental health, ADHD, imposter syndrome, anxiety, and relationship concerns. She also enjoys helping students develop self-care strategies to address chronic stress and burnout. Briahna’s approach to therapy is affirming, collaborative, and engaging. She utilizes an integrative style, drawing from psychodynamic, narrative, ACT, feminist, and liberation frameworks to center each client’s unique needs. She strives to provide an empowering space where students can show up authentically, reflect deeply, and explore challenges from multiple angles. In her free time, Briahna enjoys creating art, weight training, and discovering new restaurants with friends.
