Day 13: February 24
Shorter Showers
According to Center for Sustainability, in 2013, SCU used 81.7 million gallons of potable water. That's about 7,800 gallons of potable water per person, which equates to roughly 21 gallons per person, per day. To reduce our usage 25%, we need to conserve 5 gallons of water per person each day. Today’s challenge invites you to take shorter showers by cut 60 seconds or more off showering time or try a Navy Shower--a method of turning off the water when soaping, or lathering up, and turning water on only for rinsing: bravo!, #Broncos4Lent
