Meatless Monday
Abstain from eating meat today – or every Monday during Lent – as a practice of mindful and sustainable living. Encourage a friend to join you in making meatless Mondays a practice of sustainability during the Season of Lent (and beyond!). It is the small, sustainable changes which will have the greatest impact on our shared future.
If you eat meat, try to reduce portion sizes by making vegetables the focal-point of your meals. Try to consume meat with less impact on the environment and better conditions for animals. Look for labels containing "grass-fed," "organic," and "pasture-raised."
