Global Health and Safety at SCU
SCU’s Global Health, Safety, and Risk Program
The Office of the Vice Provost for International Programs oversees the Global Health, Safety, and Risk Program for the University. The Program supports all university-sponsored international travel at SCU and provides university-wide infrastructure for global travel. This Program undergirds the Impact 2030 strategic plan, Priority One: Reach on a Global Scale, that aspires to increase global activity throughout the University and protects the University by aligning policies and procedures with national best practices in international higher education.
The Global Health, Safety, and Risk Program includes:
- University International Travel Policy
- Procedures
- International emergency medical insurance/travel assistance provider
- Resources and development for faculty and staff
- Staffing/Committee/Task Force infrastructure
