SCU Study Abroad
SCU Study Abroad is a part of the Global Engagement unit leading international diversity, intercultural learning, and internationalization at Santa Clara. We offer quarter and semester-length study and intern-abroad opportunities for undergraduate students.
"We aspire to shape a world where people with varying identities and perspectives have the courage, skills, and ability to thrive."
- Global Engagement Mission Statement
We build the world's future leaders by inspiring curiosity and instilling the joy of learning.
For students of all majors and career goals, studying abroad sets the stage for learning and building connections for their future. Approximately one-third of juniors study abroad in a quarter, semester or summer program. Studying abroad can be an enriching academic, professional, and personal experience. It gives students a chance to immerse themselves in another culture, learn or enhance language skills, launch lifelong pursuits, and gain an invaluable edge in an increasingly competitive global job market and grad school admissions process, among many other benefits.
Please Note: Santa Clara University may be obliged to alter or eliminate programs described at any time. Dates, courses, and costs may change without notification.
Students, families, faculty, and staff can reach our team via email at studyabroad@scu.edu with any questions or concerns they may have regarding study abroad. Our team is committed to responding during our business hours within 1-2 business days, not including campus holidays.
