Call for Proposals

2025-2026 Proposal Deadlines April 3, 2026

The purpose of this grant is to support faculty growth and experimentation in their pedagogy, build and deepen pedagogical expertise among faculty, support innovation in assignment and course design, and otherwise enrich the pedagogical work of faculty across campus.

Awards:
Each grant recipient will receive $2,000 as supplemental pay. In addition--as applicable--you may provide a budget for other appropriate costs essential to the development, implementation, or sharing of results related to the project.

Timeline:

Applications due on 3 April 2026. 

Generally applications will be submitted via Google Form and awards are announced in May.

Submission Process:
Submit proposals through a Google Form

Evaluation Process:

Readers will evaluate the quality of the project and proposal. In particular, readers will note the potential impact on student learning, curriculum, or pedagogy within a program, major, or the Core Curriculum; any possibilities for sharing out the results of the project; and the quality of the assessment plan.

Special consideration will be given to proposals that connect meaningfully to the current scholarship of teaching and learning and/or explore ways of facilitating active, student-centered, inclusive, collaborative, interdisciplinary, engaged or integrative learning, or that involve students as collaborators.
