Welcome to the official home of the Santa Clara University Sailing Team! We are a passionate and competitive group of student-athletes dedicated to the sport of sailing, teamwork, and personal growth on the water. Whether you're an experienced racer or brand new to the sport, SCU Sailing offers a welcoming environment to develop your skills, compete at a high level, and be part of a tight-knit community.

Who We Are

SCU Sailing is a student-run club team that competes in the Pacific Coast Collegiate Sailing Conference (PCCSC). We sail in the beautiful San Francisco Bay out of the Port of Redwood City. Our team is built showing up, working hard, and getting better together — on the water and off.

What We Do

• Compete – we travel and race against top schools in the PCCSC and beyond, representing SCU in both fleet and team racing events.
• Train – we practice several times a week, sharpening our boat handling, tactical decision-making, and teamwork.
• Grow – we welcome sailors of all experience levels, and provide coaching and mentorship at every level.
• Connect – beyond competition, we foster a strong sense of community with team dinners, socials, and adventures on and off the water.
