Bronco Rugby Union Women's Side

Established in 1997, the Santa Clara University Women's Rugby Club is currently set to celebrate its 29th year on campus. Affectionately known as the BRUWS (Bronco Rugby Union Women's Side), the team focuses on teaching the basics of the game, creating strong team bonds, and competing on a national level. Since its establishment at SCU, the women's team has placed three times at Nationals: 15th in 2011, 7th in 2012, and 10th in 2017. Currently, the club competes in the Division 2 West Coast Rugby Conference against the University of San Francisco, University of Nevada Reno, Cal Poly Humboldt, and San Jose State.
