The Student Ambassador Program is looking for energetic, engaged, and service-minded students to represent our campus to prospective students, families, and special guests. As a Student Ambassador, you’ll be the face of SCU—leading campus tours, speaking on student life panels, and creating a welcoming environment for all who visit.

Our application is currently open on Workday to First-Year, Sophomore, and Junior Undergraduate students! The deadline to submit the Workday application is Friday, December 12th 2025 at 11:59pm. Position Requirements

Ambassadors have availability each quarter (starting with Spring Quarter).

  • Two weekly 30-minute panels (9:15 a.m. / 1:15 p.m.) and two weekly 90-minute tours (9:45 a.m. / 1:45 p.m.). You may not be scheduled for all shifts, but have to have this availability
  • Approximately two Saturdays each month
  • Thursday evening meetings (twice a month)
  • Open House (October) and Preview Day (April)

Hours & Scheduling
Hours vary from just a few hours to about 8 hours per week, depending on program needs. Weekly schedules are released the Friday before the week begins, so this position may not suit students who require a fixed number of hours or a set weekly schedule. Please consider your availability carefully before applying.

Application Timeline

The Ambassador recruitment process continues through the Winter quarter and includes multiple stages:
  • A secondary application (sent to all applicants after the WorkDay Application is received)
    • A secondary Ambassador Google Form will be sent to you after you apply and must be completed by December 12th. We cannot consider you without the Ambassador Google Form. Late forms will not be accepted. It is important that you stay up-to-date with your emails to ensure you do not miss important deadlines.
  • A group interview (by invitation)
    • If chosen, you will receive further details in early/mid-January
  • An Individual Interview (by invitation)
    • Students chosen for individual interviews will receive further details by early February.
  • Hiring/Onboarding (March)
  • Official Start Date (April)
