The Conference Event Coordinator (CEC) plays a key role in ensuring smooth operations by coordinating event logistics, managing on-site needs, and maintaining communication with university departments and external clients. CECs require strong customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to respond calmly and efficiently in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment. This is a hands-on position ideal for individuals with a working knowledge of campus facilities, excellent interpersonal skills, and a proactive approach to solving problems.
As the Conference Services Marketing and Communications Intern, you will assist in producing and publishing content in various forms and researching. You will be expected to maintain strict adherence to Santa Clara University’s established marketing guidelines to ensure an accurate online representation. Success in this role will be demonstrated by generating relevant and engaging social media posts to expand brand awareness and internet traffic.
The Conference Service Representative (CSR) position is dedicated to ensuring a welcoming and professional environment for all guests. CSRs support the operational functions of the Conference Services Program, enhancing the overall guest experience through quality assurance of all residential and meeting facilities, assistance with event setup, and thorough knowledge of the university campus as well as its resources.
The Conference Guest Services (CGS) role involves fostering a welcoming atmosphere and assisting with the day-to-day operations of the Conference Services Program as a face-to-face representative of the department. CGSs are expected to have excellent interpersonal skills and deliver outstanding, courteous, and informed customer service to ensure a pleasant experience for all guests.
