Dr. Reed is a first-generation college student who graduated from Purdue University Northwest with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and graduated with his Master’s and Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) degrees in Clinical Psychology from Adler University in Chicago. He has previous clinical training experience in community mental health, primary care, outpatient clinics, and college counseling settings. Daniel completed his pre- and post-doctoral training at California State University – Monterey Bay. Daniel takes an integrative approach to therapy using cognitive-behavioral, person-centered, psychodynamic, and Adlerian interventions to tailor therapy for each individual he supports. He has a passion for working with students on interpersonal concerns, identity development and formation, trauma, LGBTQ+ experiences and concerns, neurodiverse adults, depression, and anxiety. In his free time, he enjoys nature, playing guitar, and exploring the Bay Area. Dr. Reed is licensed to practice in the States of California and Illinois.
