Student Advisory Council
The CAH Student Advisory Council members are drawn from departments across campus in the arts, humanities, and adjacent fields, such as Environmental Studies, Ethnic Studies, and Women’s and Gender Studies. Members provide guidance and feedback to the directors, representing the academic and student interests associated with their disciplinary and interdisciplinary majors and minors.

Miles Duncan '29
Philosophy and Communication
Miles is a sophomore at Santa Clara University double majoring in Philosophy and Communication. He is a member of Audiosync, one of SCU's Acapella groups. He works for The Owl, a student-run literary and art magazine, as well as KSCU, the college radio station. Miles has also developed an interest in social justice, through several immersions through the Ignatian Center. Miles plans to pursue a career in social work or education.

Lucas Gustin '27
Art History
Lucas Gustin is a current senior majoring in Art History with an emphasis in Arts Management. He works at the deSaisset Museum as a member of its Art Prep team, where his passions for art history and the museum industry intersect. Born and raised in Santiago, Chile, Lucas brought his interests in painting and swimming with him to SCU. He hopes to enter the art museum industry after graduating.

Julian Ozaela '28
Biology and Public Health
Julian is a current second-year student double-majoring in Biology and Public Health Science and double-minoring in Creative Writing and Medical and Health Humanities. A member of the University Honors Program and the Johnson Scholars Program, Julian is involved in the Santa Clara Review as Poetry Editor, the Ignatian Center, Chamber Singers, and Barkada, among other on-campus engagements. Additionally, he enjoys volunteering, exploring nature, and traveling. Julian intends to pursue a career in justice-centered medicine, committed to art, health, and humanity.

Emilia Rodriguez '27
Theatre Arts and English
Emilia is a senior Theatre Arts and English double major with a double minor in Ethnic Studies and Musical Theatre. She is heavily involved in Mainstage and Blackbox performances here as an actor, director, playwright, and hair and makeup designer. In addition to theatre, she is a member of Campus Ministry, the Latine Student Union, SCU Presents, Books and Tea Club, Co-President of Alpha Psi Omega (Theatre Honors Society), Vice President of Sigma Tau Delta (English Honors Society), and is a dramaturgical research assistant for the Theatre Department. Post grad, Emilia is looking to pursue a professional career in the arts as a playwright, actress, and director.

Addy Sharkness '28
Studio Art
Addy is a junior Studio Art major with a minor in Spanish Studies. At Santa Clara, she has dabbled in ceramics, photography, digital editing, and drawing. She spent her summer in Costa Rica searching for sloths, studying birds, and strengthening her Spanish. As a co-president of the SCU Student Art League (SCUSAL), she enjoys inviting students to make messes and build community. In her role on the CAH Student Advisory Council, Addy hopes to spread the joy she finds in creating and sharing art. She plans to pursue artistic work and would love to bring stories to life with her illustrations.

Isabella Song '28
Art History and Arts Management
Song is a Junior Art History major and Arts Management minor. They currently lead two clubs, Queer & Qualified and the SCU Student Art League. They are also in the honors program, a LEAD student, and a Community Facilitator in the Modern Perspectives RLC. In their free time, they enjoy watching movies in the theater with their AMC Stubs A List membership. Song is passionate about art and design, and is still undecided about attending graduate school, but interested in Brand Design and Strategy as a possible career path.

Eddie Standifer '27
English
Eddie is a current senior majoring in English. He is a member of the University Honors Program, and is also involved in academic research in the Imaginarium Lab, focusing on social media and digital humanities. He grew up in Santa Clara, CA, and is grateful to be going to school so close to home. Eddie enjoys hybrid format photography, learning foreign languages, and writing. After graduating, Eddie plans on attending graduate school.
