Sonia Gomez
Sonia Gomez is an Assistant Professor in the Department of History where she teaches classes on race and ethnic relations, gender, and immigration in U.S. history. She is currently working on her second book, Dear Mollie: Friendship Across Barbed Wire and Racial Lines about an interracial group of friends who maintained their bond through letter writing throughout World War II.
