Neil Maguire is Founder and CEO of Adara Power, a manufacturer of lithium-ion energy storage systems
and software solutions for renewable energy. Neil previously ran Texas Instruments’ Automotive
Battery Management System semiconductor business unit. Prior to TI, Neil was VP of Marketing and
Business Development at Imara Corporation, a lithium-ion cell manufacturing start-up. Neil moved to
Silicon Valley from the Detroit area 13 years ago after his software start-up was acquired by Agile
Software (now Oracle). His career started in the automotive industry where he worked at GM on the
first ethanol fuel system and at Ford on fuel cell developments and 42V power systems. Neil has
degrees in Materials Science from Michigan State University, MS Mechanical Engineering from Kettering
University and an MBA from Oakland University.
