2026-2027 Graduate & Law Housing Application
Apply to live on campus during your time as a Graduate or Law student! This application is for newly admitted students or current students who wish to live in one of our four residence halls or three off-campus neighborhood units for the upcoming academic year.
- Application Opens: Wednesday, March 11, 2026
- Returning Students - Preferred Application Period Closes: Wednesday, April 1, 2026
- New Students - Preferred Application Period Closes: Wednesday, May 13, 2026
Students who submit their application after May 13, 2026 will apply via the rolling application process and will be placed based on available space.
Due to limited availability, not all students who apply as a new student will secure housing initially. Any student who has applied during the Preferred Application Period will be placed on a waitlist and receive priority placement as space becomes available. Students who apply via the rolling application process will be placed after the priority waitlist has been exhausted.

Room Placement Priority
How are assignments determined and when will I find out my room assignment?
- Returning students will receive their placement notification on April 30, 2026.
- New applicants who apply by the priority deadline will receive an update between April 30, 2026 - May 29, 2026.
- Students who apply via the rolling application will be notified of their placement as space becomes available.
Students who wish to return to Graduate & Law housing for the following academic year are given priority placement.
Students who wish to bridge their contract over the summer term will be required to reside in their current unit during the following academic year
New incoming students or students who do not currently live on campus, who wish to live in Graduate & Law housing for the following academic year, will be able to select from available spaces once all returning students have received a housing placement.

Students may be eligible to bridge their housing contract over the summer if they will be residing in their current unit for the following academic year.
If the following academic year contract is canceled before the summer bridge begins, the student will not be eligible for summer bridge housing. If the following academic year contract is canceled after the summer bridge begins, the student will will be required to move out within 24 hours.
Graduate students are only able to live on campus during the summer if they have been approved for a bridge contract.
