Note: All steps must be completed by the deadlines listed. If you fail to complete the required steps your offer of admission may be rescinded. Please see SCU’s Rescission Policies.

☐ Log in to eCampus. Submit the Supplemental Pre-enrollment Information Form (SPIF) via eCampus May 1 (First-year students)

☐ Register for Orientation

Note: Reserve one of the seven first-year sessions or register for Transfer Student Orientation.

Note: International students are required to also attend the GEO International Student Welcome.

On-Campus Living

☐ Select your top Residential Learning Community (RLC) preferences.
☐ Submit the $350 housing deposit, the housing contract, and the RLC/House Preference form.

Note: You will not be able to request housing until you have submitted your enrollment fee. Submit your roommate requests by May 1.

Off-Campus Living
☐ Submit the Commuter RLC Preference form

☐ Take the Calculus Readiness Exam (CRE) if your major will require calculus

☐ Activate and start regularly checking your SCU email account July 1

☐ Submit official final high school transcripts

Note for first-year students: Send your final transcripts showing senior grades and date of graduation to the Office of Undergraduate Admission. If there’s a significant deterioration in your academic work during your final months of school, our Academic Committee may rescind your offer of admission. Please see SCU Rescission Policies.

July 11

☐ Take a second-language placement exam if you plan to take language courses (e.g., to satisfy your Core second-language requirement) during your first year at SCU

Note: Go to Modern Languages & Literatures for more information about placement and proficiency testing.

July 1 - July 11
☐ Submit AP/IB/A-levels exam results for credit July 11
☐ Submit final college transcripts July 11

☐ Complete all loan and/or verification documents

Note: Be sure that all forms and necessary signatures have been submitted to secure your grants, scholarships, and/or loans. The Financial Aid Office may contact you during this time to complete these documents.


☐ For international students who do not hold a U.S. passport, submit a completed I-20 request form

Note: International Transfers include those students who are transferring their SEVIS records to SCU from any other school or institution.

☐ Submit proof of health insurance

Note: Enroll in the SCU-sponsored health insurance plan or submit the online waiver form if you have your own insurance.

☐ Payment deadline for fall tuition, housing, and fees

Statements will be available online via eCampus on August 1. The fall quarter payment deadline is August 21. Students should set up parents or other third parties as authorized users on eCampus to grant access to monthly billing statements. Students should complete the FERPA Release on eCampus to allow the University to release financial and registration information to parents/guardians. Additional billing and payment information will be discussed at orientations and is
available online.
