2019 Mission Priority Examen (MPE)

Santa Clara University, along with all 28 of the Jesuit colleges and universities in the United States, is embarking on an important self-study to reflect on who we are and who we want to become as a Jesuit and Catholic university. Everyone - including faculty, staff, students, alumni, and friends of the university - is encouraged to learn more about our project and participate in it. We have a diverse and representative Committee who will usher our efforts along throughout the first half of 2019. Our self-study report, with recommendations for future focus on mission-related priorities, will be made available to all.

Please check out our website and especially the FAQs: this is an evolving project and new content will be added. Please feel free to contact us co-chairs with questions and suggestions if so desired.

Santa Clara University has been a leading Catholic and Jesuit university for many years: we hope to use this opportunity to be an even better one moving forward - more reflective, more intentional, and more strategic about the unique educational mission which has been handed to us.

Sincerely,

Thomas Plante and Dorian Llywelyn, S.J.
