Transportation Services provides support for all campus transportation needs. Our transportation demand management (TDM) programs and policies are geared toward reducing single-occupancy vehicles traveling to and from campus. A recent campus study found constructing and maintaining a new parking garage could cost over $38,000 per parking space. We believe that investing in TDM programs will improve transportation efficiency for all Santa Clara University students, faculty, and staff. We are constantly exploring new incentives and programs to help the University avoid additional costs while reducing our transportation-related greenhouse gas emissions. For more information about Santa Clara's sustainability programs, please visit the Center for Sustainability's website.

Alternative Transit Pack (Digital)
Alternative Transit Packs (Digital)
To be more sustainable, we have moved away from the paper alternative transit card to an AMP Park digital parking permit pack (ATP). To qualify for a monthly alternative transit pack, you must use one of the following alternative modes of transportation when coming to campus:
- Bicycle: Please register your bicycle on the following bike registry
- Carpool: All members of the carpool need to complete the Carpool Registration Form
- Train: email proof of monthly train ticket purchase to transportation@scu.edu
Monthly permit packs that are requested (either by phone, email, or in person) will be applied on the last day of the current month for the next month. For example, 1/31 for February usage. The benefit is only 5 parking permits per month, whether they are all used or not. For more information on how to redeem, click the Alternative Transit pack section, located here.
Terms and Conditions for The Digital Alternative Transit Card
The digital alternative transit card replaces the physical alternative transit card and any paper hangtags.
- Customers can benefit by engaging in one of the following modes of transportation only: bicycling, carpooling, or taking the train.

- It is highly recommended that a parking permit be redeemed as soon as the vehicle is parked on campus.
- The monthly permit pack cannot be transferred to another vehicle. Only vehicles associated with the account will have access to the monthly permit pack.
