We want you to know that at SCU, we do all that we can to make sure you are prepared to excel academically, socially, and spiritually during your four years here. This is why we require all new students to attend Orientation.
Summer Orientation is a critical first step in your college career. From learning which Residential Learning Community you will be living in to registering for your first quarter classes, these two days are an important and exciting first step on your journey at Santa Clara University. Each new student is required to attend Orientation and stay in the residence halls while they are here, even those that will be living off campus in the fall.
When you arrive on campus, there will be over twenty five undergraduate Orientation Leaders ready to greet you, answer all of your questions, tell you about classes, social life, and other dynamic opportunities at SCU.
The 2008 Summer Orientation dates are available to review now and you may make your reservation at anytime after submitting your enrollment deposit. Please remember that Summer Orientation is an academic requirement of the University and all new students must attend. If you have a parent or guest attend with you, they will participate on the same days but in a program separate from students.
