How to Use your Credentials on Campus

Using your ACCESS Digital Credential on Your iPhone, Apple Watch and Android Phone

  • Your ACCESS credential in your Wallet can be used even if the phones or Apple Watch do not have network connectivity, as the credential is stored on your device.
  • On iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and IPhone XR and later, you can use your ACCESS Credential with power reserve for up to 5 hours after the device's battery needs to be charged.
  • Tap the top of your phone or the face of your Apple Watch against the reader to use your ACCESS digital credential.
    • For iPhone 6S, iPhone 6S Plus and later, Express Mode allows you to use your ACCESS credential without unlocking the device with a passcode, Touch ID, or Face ID. Just tap your device against the reader to recognize your ACCESS credential.
    • On an iPhone 6/6 Plus, you can use it by double-clicking the Home button, then tapping your default payment card and selecting your ACCESS Credential. Rest your finger on Touch ID to authenticate, and hold the top of iPhone 6 or 6 Plus the contactless reader.
  • In situations where you need to display your ACCESS digital credential, open Apple Wallet/GooglePay and select your ACCESS Credential from your saved cards.
