Emma Arreola Tinajero
Assistant Director of Admission

Emma grew up in Santa Clara and attended De Anza College before studying and interning abroad in Seoul, South Korea, and transferring to UC Irvine. While Emma enjoyed her time away from home, the charm of the Bay Area drew her back to serve as Assistant Director in the Undergraduate Admissions Office. As a first-generation college transfer student, Emma understands firsthand the challenges of navigating higher education and gaining access to opportunities. Emma wants to contribute to making higher education more accessible to students who may find navigating it difficult. Emma believes that taking the first step starts with you, but pursuing your passions takes a village, and Emma hopes to be a part of that village!
