Pat Carroll, S.J., a beloved member of the Santa Clara Jesuit Community and, in his own words, “a very stubborn, sensitive, and sentimental Irishman.” He was inducted into the Hall of Fame for his contributions to the athletic programs no matter the record. Carroll was also the chaplain for many sport teams at Santa Clara.
