Ennis was a three-year letterwinner for the Broncos from 1963-66. He helped Santa Clara to three straight winning seasons, including an 8-1 mark in his senior year. In his three years on the team, Ennis led the Broncos in interceptions and yards after the interception. His defense was part of the 21-6 winning record the Broncos amassed over three seasons. Ennis went on to be a legendary high school coach in the Seattle area. He compiled a 287-87 record over a 36-year coaching career that included three state titles. Ennis, who was named the Coach of the Century in 2000 by The Seattle Times, is the second winningest prep football coach in the history of the state of Washington.
