Bob Feerick was Santa Clara's Men’s Basketball coach from 1950-1964. During his time at Santa Clara, Coach Feerick put up an overall record of 186-120 and a conference record of 77-43.The former Bronco guard lead his team to four NCAA Tournament Appearances as Head Coach. Coach Feerick took the ‘52 team to fourth place in the NCAA tourney, the ‘53 and ‘54 teams to the Elite Eight, and the ‘60 team to the Sweet Sixteen. During his coaching career at Santa Clara, Feerick helped to mold the athletic career of Ken Sears, an All-American and two-time Conference player of the year.
