Gerald Graham was talented enough to receive a scholarship to play baseball at the University of Santa Clara. After graduation from Santa Clara, he attended Columbia University in New York. There he earned his commission serving in the Navy. During World War II, he served 2 ½ years on destroyers in the Pacific. When Graham returned home after bravely serving his country, he became President of Reed & Graham, Inc. Graham eventually returned to the Mission Campus and assumed a role as a member of the President’s Board of Fellows. Gerald Graham was inducted into the Santa Clara Hall of Fame in 1980.
