John Logan was one of Santa Clara’s oldest football players in the Hall of Fame as a member of the Class of 1922. Logan, standing 6’0” and weighing 180 pounds, played end for the Broncos where he excelled from his gritty play. One of his most memorable games is against Cal where he blocked two punts to upset them for the first time. Still to this day, he is credited for single-handedly winning this huge game for Santa Clara. Logan also played Basketball and Baseball while at SCU.
