Stephen Markey was elected to the school’s Hall of Fame in 2015 as a member of the “lightweight eight”. He was an oarsman for the Broncos. His boat won the Western Sprints (now the Pacific Coast Rowing Championship) in 1981 and 1982, and was the last Santa Clara team to compete at the Henley Royal Regatta in England.
