Herman Meister was an assistant coach to Len Casanova during some of the best years of Bronco football. Meister helped coach the Broncos to an Orange Bowl victory over Bear Bryant’s Kentucky Wildcats in 1950. His team is the only Santa Clara football team to win the Orange Bowl.
