Howard O’Daniels was a greyhound type of tackle from the northern woods. He stood at 6’0 and weighed 175 pounds. He was light for a tackle, but made up for it with his perfect body control and plenty of fierceness. O’Daniels was also fast, shifty and always had his mind on a swivel. O’Daniels made key blocks in both games to upset Saint Mary in 1928 and 1931.
