Brian Roberts was inducted into the Hall of Fame for his contributions to Santa Clara Men’s Basketball as team manager. The Broncos, during Roberts’s career, went to 3 NCAA tournaments and were 2x WCC Champions. This same team shocked the nation in 1992-93. Led by first-year head coach, Dick Davey, the Broncos ended ranked third, won the conference tournament, and earned a trip to the NCAA tournament. At the tournament the 15th-seeded Broncos upset the No. 2 seed Arizona, marking only the second time a No. 15 seed had upset the No. 2 seed in the NCAA tournament.
