I've been a professional musician since the age of 15, when I got my first jobs playing piano for ballet classes and as organist for a small church in Connecticut. I grew up literally backstage on Broadway, as both my parents were in the business. I got a great education at excellent schools, I've done some really good performing as a singer and a pianist, and I've been fortunate to work with some extraordinary people. I love that a life in the performing arts is a continual learning process. As an educator, I believe that the best part about teaching is helping each young artist to find their own voice.
